Make sure the pulley is firmly seated on the shaft it is to be removed from.2. Screw the center bolt of the puller into the center of the pulley, using a socket wrench. As the bolt is screwed in, the puller arms will expand outward, gripping the pulley.3. Attach the pulling bar to the center bolt of the pulley puller and begin to turn the bar in a clockwise direction. This will cause the puller arms to contract, pulling the pulley off the shaft.4. Once the pulley is removed, unscrew the center bolt and remove the pulley puller.
